What is RDPDatabase?
RDPDatabase is a remote desktop server hosting provider. We offer Shared RDP, VPS, and Dedicated Servers running Windows Server, giving you a fully functional Windows desktop accessible from anywhere in the world. Our infrastructure is used by traders, streamers, developers, and remote workers across 60+ countries.
What is a Shared RDP server?
A shared RDP server is a Windows Server machine whose hardware resources (CPU, RAM, storage) are shared among multiple users. Each user gets a fully private and isolated Windows session — other users cannot see or access your files or activity. It's the most affordable way to get a 24/7 online Windows desktop.
What's the difference between Shared RDP, VPS, and Dedicated?
Shared RDP — most affordable, resources shared with other users, ideal for light to moderate tasks like trading bots, automation, or remote work.
VPS — dedicated virtualized resources (CPU, RAM, storage) just for you. More consistent performance, full OS control, ideal for developers and heavier workloads.
Dedicated — a physical server exclusively yours. Maximum performance and privacy. Best for demanding, mission-critical applications.
Which operating systems do you support?
All shared RDP servers run Windows Server 2022. VPS and Dedicated plans support Windows Server 2019 / 2022 and several Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS). Custom OS requests are available on Dedicated plans — contact us.
How quickly is my server set up after ordering?
Shared RDP and VPS servers are provisioned instantly or within 5 minutes of payment confirmation. You'll receive your login credentials by email. Dedicated servers may take up to 24 hours for initial configuration.
Do I need technical knowledge to use an RDP server?
Not at all. If you can use a Windows computer, you can use our RDP servers. Connecting is as simple as entering your IP and password into the built-in Remote Desktop app on Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android. Our knowledgebase covers every step, and our support team is available 24/7 if you need help.

8 questions
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard or by contacting support. Upgrades are applied immediately with no downtime. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Can I reinstall or reset my server?
Yes. VPS and Dedicated plans can be reinstalled via the control panel at any time. For Shared RDP plans, contact our support team and we'll reset your user profile within minutes. Note: reinstalling wipes all data, so back up important files first.
Do you offer backups?
Our Streaming Server plan and above include weekly automatic backups. Power Server plans include daily backups. For basic plans, we recommend storing important data in cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox) as a precaution. Manual backups can be requested through support on any plan.
What datacenter locations are available?
We operate in 9 global locations: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, and São Paulo. You can select your preferred location at checkout. For trading, we recommend choosing the datacenter closest to your broker's servers for lowest latency.
How many users can connect simultaneously to my server?
Shared RDP plans support 1 concurrent RDP session per user account. VPS plans support up to 2 concurrent sessions by default (more can be configured). Dedicated servers support unlimited concurrent connections depending on your Windows Server licensing. Contact us if you need multi-user access.
Is there a bandwidth or traffic limit?
No. All our plans come with unmetered bandwidth — you will never receive an extra charge based on traffic volume. Network port speeds range from 1 Gbps on entry plans to 10 Gbps on Streaming, VPS, and higher plans.
Can I install any software on my server?
Yes. You have full administrator access and can install any software that complies with our Terms of Service. This includes trading platforms, browsers, automation tools, development environments, and more. Some high-risk software categories (e.g., cryptocurrency miners) require prior approval.
What is the uptime guarantee?
We guarantee 99.9% uptime on all plans, backed by a Service Level Agreement. If your server experiences downtime that breaches this SLA in any given month, you are entitled to a prorated service credit. See our Refund Policy for details.
Billing
6 questions
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, and several other altcoins. All billing is month-to-month with no long-term contracts required.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
Yes. All new orders are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason within the first 30 days, contact us and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Are there any hidden fees?
None. The price you see on our plans page is what you pay every month — no setup fees, no bandwidth overages, no renewal surprises. Prices are in USD and do not include local taxes where applicable.
How does billing work — is it automatic?
For card and PayPal payments, billing renews automatically on your monthly anniversary date. You'll receive an invoice email 3 days before each renewal. For cryptocurrency payments, you'll receive a renewal reminder and must manually pay each month. If payment isn't received within 3 days, the server is suspended (not deleted) — you have 7 additional days to pay before data deletion.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time through your dashboard or by contacting support. Your server remains accessible until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
Do you offer discounts for longer subscriptions or multiple servers?
Yes. We offer quarterly (10% off) and annual (20% off) pricing on most plans. Volume discounts are available for customers with 3+ servers — contact our sales team at sales@rdpdatabase.com for a custom quote.
Technical
7 questions
Which devices can I use to connect to my RDP server?
You can connect from Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux using Microsoft's free Remote Desktop client app. Any device with an internet connection can access your server — there's no need to own a Windows machine.
What port does RDP use? Is it blocked by ISPs?
RDP uses port 3389 by default. Most ISPs do not block this port, but some mobile carriers or corporate networks may. If port 3389 is blocked on your network, you can change the RDP port on your server to an alternate port (e.g., 443) — our knowledgebase has a step-by-step guide.
Will my server keep running if I disconnect?
Yes — this is one of the key advantages of an RDP server. When you disconnect, your session and all running programs continue running in the background. Your trading bots, automation scripts, or downloads keep going uninterrupted 24/7.
Can I run MT4 / MT5 and trading EAs on my server?
Absolutely. Our RDP servers are widely used by Forex and crypto traders for running MT4, MT5, cTrader, and custom trading EAs 24/7. For trading, we recommend the Streaming Server plan or higher, with a datacenter close to your broker.
What happens if my server crashes or goes offline?
Our infrastructure is monitored 24/7. If a hardware issue is detected, our team is automatically alerted and responds immediately. For most issues, services are restored within minutes. If downtime exceeds our SLA threshold, you will receive a service credit. You can also check live status at our uptime page.
Can I get a dedicated IP address?
Shared RDP plans share a server IP. VPS and Dedicated plans include a dedicated IP address by default. Additional IPs can be purchased as an add-on for VPS plans. Contact support for details.
Is there a control panel or dashboard?
Yes. All customers get access to our client area dashboard where you can view your active servers, check resource usage, manage billing, open support tickets, and initiate reboots or reinstalls. VPS and Dedicated plans also include a server-level control panel for more granular management.
Security
5 questions
Is my RDP session private from other users?
Yes. Even on shared servers, each user gets a completely isolated Windows session. Other users cannot see your files, processes, or screen. Your session is protected by Windows Server's built-in multi-user isolation — it's the same technology used in enterprise environments.
Do you include DDoS protection?
Yes. All plans include network-level DDoS protection at no extra cost. Our infrastructure partners provide automatic mitigation for volumetric attacks. For advanced application-layer DDoS protection, contact us.
Do you log my internet activity or traffic?
No. We do not log, inspect, or store the content of your internet traffic or RDP sessions. We only collect aggregate server metrics (CPU, RAM, bandwidth usage) for capacity planning and billing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I change my RDP password?
Yes. You can change your Windows password at any time from within the server by pressing Ctrl + Alt + End (inside the RDP session) and selecting "Change a password". We strongly recommend changing your password from the default after first login and using a strong, unique password.
What should I do if I think my server has been compromised?
Contact our support team immediately via live chat or Telegram. We can suspend network access to your server, help you change credentials, and investigate the source of the compromise. Common causes include weak passwords, outdated software, or malware introduced via downloaded files. See our security guide in the knowledgebase.
